Features
This 2010-2011 Toyota Prius exhaust system is made with internal packing named Advantex, which allows the muffler to reduce sounds more, and with less material, while maintaining extremely high flow characteristics. This material is much more effective than other packaging material types such as loose packaged fiberglass mats and composites. Because of the Advantex packaging material, the canister can be much slimmer, weigh less, and reduce sound more than other systems that require large bulky canisters or multiple sub-mufflers. The dual walled tip reduces the amount of exhaust resonation. Because of the thinwall piping, the weight of this exhaust system is significantly reduced. The exhaust system also features a hollow exhaust hangar and pressed flanges-all to help reduce the overall weight of the system.
