How Our Systems Work!
When reversing, the 4 rear backup sensors that are installed on your back bumper send ultrasonic waves to detect obstacles behind vehicle. Then the controller receives the signal and transmits it to the speaker that is installed under your seat, or if the product comes with a display, then the signal is transmitted to the display unit. The parking senor emits a long intermittent beeps at 4-6 feet (depends on the model), and as you move closer to the obstacle, the beep increases in frequency. When you are 1 foot away, the sound is continuous. The power for our parking sensor is supplied by tapping into the reverse lights which means that the device is only on when your car is in reverse!!
WHAT IS THE CHANCE THAT I WILL GET IN A WRECK WHILE BACKING UP?
Each year in the United States there are over 300,000 reported reversing accidents, in driveways, parking lots, and neighborhoods all over the country. These accidents account for more than 400 deaths annually, usually young children, and cost drivers in excess of 1.3 billion dollars in damages. According to the Department of Transportation, 27% of all accidents occur in reverse. Further research showed that 70% of these accidents could have been prevented with the use of a collision avoidance system.

How does the Parking Sensor Work?
The Parking sensor system consists of 2 to 8+ sensors, controller and speaker and or display system. The backup sensors are installed on the back of the vehicle in 3 different ways and they send out an ultrasonic signal 4 times per second to scan for objects behind the vehicle. If the ultrasonic waves bounce off an object and are received back to the backup sensor, then the device will warn the driver audibly and/or visually.
Why do I need a Reverse Backing System?
Each year there are over 300,000 reported reverse accidents in the U.S. and that does not include the hundreds of thousands of accidents that are not reported. As a matter of fact, according to the Department of Transportation, 27% of car accidents involve at least one vehicle in reverse. Annually, accidents in reverse cost insurance companies and individuals over 1.3 billion dollars. According to Kidsandcars.org , a non-profit organization focused on improving the safety of vehicles for cars, state that backup accidents killed 91 children in 2003, with 82% of these children under the age of four. This represented a 57% increase from 2002. And according to the Department of Transportation, 70% of all accidents can be avoided in vehicles that have a collision avoidance device.
